Mark E. Frenchi D.D.S., M.S., P.C.

Dr. Frenchi received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees from the University of Detroit. During that time Dr. Frenchi received a number of academic awards and held a number of offices within organizations. Upon graduation from Dental School Dr. Frenchi practiced general dentistry with two of his former professors for two years. During this time continuing education courses led Dr. Frenchi to the specialty of Periodontics. Dr. Frenchi applied and was accepted into the Periodontal program at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry from which he graduated with both a certificate and a master's degree. Dr. Frenchi began his private practice of Periodontics upon graduation from his residency program in 1982. Dr. Frenchi became a board eligible Periodontist in 1986 and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 1992. Being a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology is the highest achievement that a Periodontist can accomplish in his career. Dr. Frenchi and his staff provide the entire realm of periodontal treatment including surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatment, periodontal plastic surgery procedures, regenerative treatment, pre-prosthetic surgery as well as occlusion, TMJ, implant and maintenance care. Dr. Frenchi is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Michigan Periodontal Association, Midwest Society of Periodontists, Oakland County Dental Society, Macomb County Dental Society, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, Michigan Periodontal Study Club, Bunting Periodontal Study Club, and is licensed in the states of Michigan, Ohio, and Florida. Dr. Frenchi was a previous instructor at the Ohio State College of Dentistry and the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital General Practice residency Program. He also continues to maintain staff privileges with St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac.

Licensing

Hygienists and Dentists must be licensed to practice their skills in the State of Michigan. Recently, Dental Assistants must show proof of proficiency (previous or current coursework) to take intra and extra oral radiographs. Dr. Frenchi and his dedicated staff attend continuing education courses and keep their current licenses on file and will present them upon request.

Denise - Patient Coordinator

Denise has been a member of Dr. Frenchi's team since 1990. She is a graduate of Clarkston High School and also attended North West Oakland Vocational School where she received a certificate in dental assisting. Denise is also certified in radiology. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and boating.

Elizabeth (Liz), C.D.A., R.D.A., R.D.H. - Dental Hygienist

Liz has been in dentistry since high school. She was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending dental hygiene school. Liz is a graduate of Oakland Community College and has been a dental hygienist for Dr. Frenchi since 1989. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them with their periodontal health. In her spare time Liz likes to cook, mountain bike and garden.

Deanna, R.D.H. - Dental Hygienist

Deanna has been a dental hygienist since 1984.  She completed her degree at Mott Community College.  Deanna has been a dental hygienist for Dr. Frenchi since 1988.  She enjoys working with her patients to assist them in achieving optimal oral health.

Patti - Office Manager

Patti joined Dr. Frenchi's team in June of 2015.  Patti brings with her 22 years of dental office experience with an additional 9 years of office management and insurance experience.  She enjoys assisting patients with their appointments and insurance.
